We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Asset-Based Lending (ABL) Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will conduct in-depth examinations of borrowers' financial records, collateral, and operational practices to assess risk and ensure compliance with lending agreements. You will analyze accounts receivable, inventory, cash flow, and other key assets to evaluate collateral quality and borrowing base availability. By delivering accurate, thorough, and timely reports, you will provide lenders with critical insights that drive sound credit decisions and protect against potential loss.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting and finance, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, actionable findings. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with a wide range of businesses and industries, develop a deep understanding of collateralized lending practices, and play a key role in safeguarding our clients' investments.

Job Location : Remote

Working hours : 8 PM-12 AM & 8 AM-12 PM

Professional Responsibilities :

Perform due diligence at companies across various industries, ranging in size from several million to over a billion dollars, including detailed analysis of accounts receivable and inventory
Execution of Asset-Based Lending and Securitization field exam procedures
Perform analytical procedures and transactional testing
Perform testing of collateral supporting Asset-Based Loans, including accounts receivable and inventory
Conduct interviews with key client personnel
Meet with management to discuss findings and recommendations
Communicate with firm personnel and client management throughout the engagement
Assist with the preparation of written reports based on the material findings during engagement discovery

Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Commercial business experience is a plus

Due Diligence and Manufacturing and Distribution experience a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; general technological aptitude

Experience working in a collaborative team environment as well as independently

Motivated and hardworking in order to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
