About the role

Socar Mobility Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of car-sharing services, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time position will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial operations and reporting, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Conducting month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
Performing account reconciliations and maintaining an effective system of internal controls
Supporting the implementation of financial policies and procedures
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the automotive or transportation industry

Strong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments

A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement
