Title

Tax Technology Consulting Service Line (based in Singapore) – Assistant Manager Tax Technology Consulting

Work you’ll do

This is a position within Deloitte’s rapidly expanding Tax Technology Consulting practice, providing tailored advice and solutions to a broad range of clients, both domestic and multinational, looking to gain access into various markets from a tax and regulatory perspective.

As an Assistant Manager you will have some experience working on ERP (SAP / Oracle) implementations and be familiar with integrating the tax bolt‑on solutions (OneSource / Vertex) within ERP transformation programs.

You will join a team of dedicated ERP and OneSource / Vertex implementation specialists, focusing on end‑to‑end project implementations. You will be responsible for deliver­ing compliance and customs solutions which include project management, change management, solution design, solution implementation and end‑user support & training.

In this role you will also lead and / or facilitate business‑process definition and modelling, check the feasibility of this business model regarding the ERP products and the legal requirements, and guide a team to implement and configure the software to replicate the required business processes and analytical / reporting needs.

You will be a key contributor to the development and growth of our TTC practice globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Information Technology or similar fields
• At least five years of experience in ERP (SAP / Oracle) project implementation or similar projects, and solid knowledge of the ERP solution
• Working knowledge of ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft would be an advantage
• Experience integrating tax bolt‑on solutions with the ERP system (i.e. Vertex, OneSource Indirect Tax)
• Technical or functional lead on at least two full‑life‑cycle SAP implementations
• Experience in SAP modules (e.g. DRC, ABAP) is an asset
• Experience on tax technology tools will be a plus (e.g., tax compliance tool, indirect tax engine, pillar two solutions)
• Experience on Microsoft apps will also be a plus (e.g., Power BI, Power Query)
• Experience on other tools such as Alteryx, workflow, etc.
• Software aptitude in PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and / or Visio
• Experience working in a client‑facing consulting / contracting role will be an advantage
• Self‑motivated with the ability to take ownership and work autonomously
• Team player with strong communication skills
