Role Summary

This position is based in Kuala Lumpur and supports ASPAC Compliance Delivery Centre (ACDC), which offers end-to-end compliance services in ASPAC. The team is diverse and supported by technology, robust processes, and a highly skilled, client-centric team. You will expand your compliance knowledge across the region and receive coaching from multiple professionals across the firm.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of VAT, WHT and other indirect tax related reports for multinational clients based on country-specific guidance
• Assist clients in being compliant with their tax obligations
• Respond to client requests and pro-actively anticipate client needs
• Identify automation opportunities to apply technology to optimize process effectiveness
• Prepare draft letters for clients, summarizing facts, analyzing specific solutions and recommendations
• Support Manager / SM at client meetings
• Assist in transitioning new clients
• Become proficient with the tools used for Indirect Tax Compliance
• Perform reconciliations that support compliance requirements
