Overview
The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met in terms of quality, efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. This role is responsible for managing a team of production operators, maintaining compliance with company standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and coordinate production staff to achieve daily output and quality targets.
- Monitor workflow, resources, and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Implement and enforce safety, health, and environmental standards in compliance with regulations.
- Review production schedules, identify bottlenecks, and adjust manpower or processes as needed.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production reports, records, and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Kaizen, or other efficiency initiatives.
- Train and develop team members to enhance skill sets and improve productivity.
