Site Safety Supervisor

Penerangan pekerjaanDiploma / Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Certification in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent). 2–5 years of experience in a safety role on construction or industrial sites. Thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Leadership qualities and ability to work independently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Enforce site-specific safety rules and procedures.
- Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
- Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for site workers.
- Monitor the use and condition of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain and update site safety documentation (e.g., risk assessments, method statements, safety plans).
- Coordinate with site management and subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Stop unsafe work practices and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise with external safety auditors, inspectors, or authorities when necessary.
- Support emergency response and evacuation procedures.
- Promote a positive safety culture on site.
