Our client is looking for a Cloud Support Team Lead to oversee and guide a high-performing support team. In this role, you will lead escalations, ensure the stability of multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, ), and mentor junior engineers. Description

  • Lead and manage a team of Cloud Support Engineers, including performance reviews, mentoring, and career development.
  • Act as the final escalation point for complex cloud issues, providing hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Oversee daily support operations, ensuring efficient workload distribution and adherence to SLAs / KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to resolve recurring issues and enhance service reliability.
  • Monitor and report on operational metrics (ticket volume, resolution time, customer satisfaction).
  • Develop and maintain documentation, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation and proactive monitoring.
  • Communicate effectively with customers during escalations and represent the support team in leadership meetings.
  • Stay current with cloud technologies and implement new tools or systems to improve support efficiency

Profile

The successful candidate should have :

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a cloud support team.
  • Hands-on experience with the AWS cloud platform.
  • At least 1 year of experience leading or mentoring a cloud support team.
  • Experience with multi-cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba) is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL background is a plus).
