Overview
Senior Developer - ServiceNow role at AXA Group Operations. The role is within the Silva Program as an Integration and ServiceNow Developer, focusing on Interface, Orchestration, CMDB, Core Master Data and Multitenancy in the ITAM / NextGen QoS program.
Job purpose
The developer’s main role is to work with technical Architects and third-party technical teams to implement and deploy solutions cost-effectively by analysing, defining and documenting requirements that fulfill business needs. The role includes understanding functional requirements, designing and proposing solutions, writing technical specifications, developing solutions, and providing functional support over the solution.
Main missions
- Scope of work on Interface & Orchestration, CMDB, Core Master Data, Multi Tenancy, Event module.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and complete solution development in line with business needs.
- Provide software deployment support; work closely with customers during application lifecycle testing, deployment, and usage improvements.
- Drive further development of functionalities at tool and process levels in interfaces and orchestration areas.
- Optimize flows between Silva and third systems.
- Assist in release planning.
- Provide clear status updates on progress and achievements.
- Support setup of BAU / support processes considering central and regional aspects.
- Maintain strong relations with ServiceNow consultants and other third parties.
Experience and skills :
Technical skills
Relevant experience in ServiceNow Development – Interfaces, CMDB, etc.Understand design principles aligned with AXA Design guidelines.Understand, support and evolve the Silva Integration strategy with external parties.5 to 7 years of ServiceNow development experience within IT Service Management.Functional and technical background
Ability to align with the client and assess impact on data / processes.Document interface functionality and requirements; act as a subject matter expert for owned product / process.Experience with prototyping, research, and translating business requirements into epics, user stories, and specifications.Create and update documentation and training materials; track development status in ServiceNow.Coordinate with stakeholders; manage technical documentation and work instructions for IT operators and end users.Understand functional requirements and propose features; validate technical specifications and ensure the product meets business needs.Development skills in XML, CSV, WSDL, Mapping, Web services Rest & Soap.ServiceNow development experience (5+ years).ITIL certification is a plus.Prerequisites : ServiceNow training – Sys Admin, Sys Admin Advanced, Scripting, Domain Separation, Orchestration.Proactivity; strong oral and written communication; ability to manage multiple stakeholders with results orientation in a collaborative project mode.Autonomous; high interest in implementing new solutions.Seniority level
