As a senior member of our project engineering team, you will assess, design, and implement new or improved IT services with a focus on cloud infrastructure, hybrid identity, and automation. You will play a key role in delivering high-impact transformation projects, empowering our users with secure, reliable, and scalable IT services across Windows, Azure, and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support projects involving assessment, design, and deployment of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and cloud infrastructure (Azure, Hyper-V / VMware).
  • Build and operate scalable Azure environments : VMs, networking, storage, backup, DR, and security policies.
  • Engineer hybrid identity solutions, including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, M365, and Intune.
  • Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell and modern IaC tools (Terraform / Ansible preferred).
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, identity, and cloud issues, driving root cause resolution and process improvement.
  • Deliver technical leadership, collaborate cross-functionally, and provide documentation for handover and operations.
  • Grow your expertise in adjacent systems engineering areas (e.g., non-Windows OS, observability, containerization).
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and support after-hours project activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Education

    • : Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  • Certifications

    • : Microsoft (MCSE, AZ-104 / 305 / 500), Azure, VMware, ITIL are strong pluses.

  • Experience
  • 7–10 years in IT infrastructure : Windows Server, AD, virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware).
  • 2–4 years hands-on managing public cloud resources in Azure (VM, network, security, storage).
  • Hybrid identity, M365 / O365, Entra ID, and automation (PowerShell; IaC a plus).
  • Proven project delivery experience : migrations, upgrades, disaster recovery, automation.
  • Technical Skills
  • Windows / AD / Entra ID admin, Azure resource provisioning, network / security, DR.
  • PowerShell, automation, scripting; Terraform / Ansible preferred.
  • Azure fundamentals (IAM, networking, security), M365 / Exchange, Intune, Conditional Access.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, analytics, root cause analysis, and modern observability tools.
  • Bonus : Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, compliance (GxP, GDPR, HIPAA).

    • Soft Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Experience delivering in a fast-paced, global, multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to translate technical issues into business solutions and clear documentation.
  • Passion for technology and continual learning.

    • Working hours :

    Aligned to CET (Malaysia 3pm–12am), Monday to Friday. After-hours support / implementation as required.
