Business Analyst – Regional Cards Platform Project (Group Cards, CFS), Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements, functional specs, user stories, workflows and process maps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements, define scope, propose business cases, and support end-to-end delivery.
- Act as a translator between business and IT to align solutions with business objectives.
- Analyse business processes and data to identify improvement opportunities and enforce business rules.
- Produce BA artefacts (BRD, FSD, interface specs, test scenarios, traceability matrix).
- Support regulatory and compliance adherence in all project deliveries.
- Manage stakeholder communications and ensure successful change adoption.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.4–6 years of business analysis experience in BFSI (preferably in lending, core banking, payments, or digital banking).Strong understanding of banking products, operations, and systems.Proven experience in requirements gathering, process modelling, user stories, and functional documentation.Familiarity with SDLC / Agile methodologies.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.Knowledge of Malaysian banking regulatory environment and risk frameworks preferred.Certification (IIBA CCBA / CBAP) or equivalent.
Experience with core banking systems, LOS, or digital platforms.
Knowledge of data analytics tools (SQL, Power BI / Tableau).
Exposure to Islamic banking and regional transformation projects.
