About the role

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Officer - Engineering (Maintenance)

to join our team at

Ranbaxy (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd a SUN PHARMA company

in

Sungai Petani Kedah . This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the engineering systems and equipment at our state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

What you'll be doing

Manage and execute the preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all engineering systems and equipment

Oversee the maintenance of utility systems such as HVAC, water treatment, and power supply

Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure minimal disruption to operations

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance

Identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of engineering systems

Manage and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and training as needed

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

At least 5 years of experience in a similar engineering maintenance role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering

Excellent understanding of maintenance principles, practices, and procedures

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and related tools

Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment and adapt to changing priorities
