Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to oversee fabrication works for piping systems, tanks, and steel structures. You will lead a team of fabricators and welders, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and coordinate fabrication works for pipes, tanks, and associated structures according to drawings, codes, and specifications.
  • Plan, allocate, and monitor daily tasks for fabricators, welders, and fitters to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure proper usage of materials, equipment, and tools to minimize wastage.
  • Inspect fabrication works to ensure quality compliance with standards such as ASME, API, or relevant codes.
  • Work closely with the QA / QC team to ensure welding, cutting, and assembly meet required standards.
  • Enforce compliance with company safety policies and statutory regulations at all times.
  • Prepare daily / weekly progress reports and update the Project / Production Manager.
  • Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and mentoring to junior staff and workers.
  • Troubleshoot issues during fabrication and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements :

  • Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Welding, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' fabrication experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of welding procedures, fabrication processes, and standards (ASME / API).
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings and isometrics.
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and good communication skills.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia; English is an advantage.
