Senior Lecturer in Mathematics (80080)

Overview

Sunway University is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics within the School of American Education . The incumbent will play a key role in delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as conducting impactful research.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops in Mathematics related subjects.
• Develop, update, and review course materials to ensure alignment with industry trends and MQA academic standards.
• Conduct research in Mathematics related fields and contribute to scholarly publications, presentations, and conferences.
• Stay updated with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance teaching methods and course content.
• Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Perform administrative functions related to the assigned subjects (e.g., student attendance, invigilation, etc.).
• Participate in extracurricular activities, and promotional / marketing events for the programme.
• Assist in the development of departmental policies, procedures, and academic goals.
