Freight Coordinator, Mandarin + English
Spreetail in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a Freight Coordinator with Mandarin and English proficiency to manage container movements and carrier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary transportation liaison for brand partners, coordinating ocean, port, and dray operations to ensure on-time, accurate delivery performance.
- Establish and maintain SOPs, escalation paths, and communication channels with origin partners and carriers to drive process consistency and accountability.
- Monitor and resolve container, booking, and delivery exceptions proactively to reduce cycle times and minimize accessorial costs.
- Manage carrier relationships—negotiating rates, tracking performance, and identifying opportunities to improve service levels and reduce costs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Customer Service, and Warehouse Operations to resolve shipping issues and support continuous improvement across the transportation network.
