IT EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to work activities.
• Perform regular system diagnostics to identify and address potential issues.
• System and Network Administration : Manage and monitor the organization’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Administer the organization's servers, databases, and IT systems to ensure smooth operation.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
• Security Management : Ensure all IT systems are secure by implementing necessary firewall and antivirus measures.
• Regularly update and patch software to protect systems against vulnerabilities.
• Perform routine security audits to identify risks and take corrective action.
• Data Backup and Recovery : Manage data backups and ensure business continuity in case of system failures.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans, ensuring that critical data can be restored in emergencies.
• IT Documentation and Reporting : Maintain records of IT assets, including hardware and software inventory.
• Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and technical procedures for internal use.
• Prepare regular reports on system performance, network health, and any incidents or issues.
• Collaboration with Other Departments : Work closely with department heads to identify and meet specific IT needs for different teams.
• Assist in the deployment of new technology and systems based on the organization's goals.
• Training and Development : Provide training sessions to employees on IT-related matters, including software applications, security practices, and best technology practices.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
