About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join the team at Bestwise Sdn Bhd, a leading Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics company based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our manufacturing and logistics teams, ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and leading a team of production and logistics personnel to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and within set timeframes
Developing and implementing plans to optimise workflow and productivity, identifying areas for improvement
Monitoring team performance and providing regular feedback, coaching and training to support their development
Ensuring adherence to all health, safety and quality standards, and reporting any issues or concerns
Collaborating with other departments to coordinate the timely delivery of products and services
Maintaining detailed records and generating reports on team activities and performance metrics

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a Supervisor or Team Leader role within a manufacturing, logistics or similar operational environment

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making, with a solutions-focused mindset

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Familiarity with health, safety and quality management systems and procedures

Proficient in using relevant software and technology to support operational efficiency
