About the Role

This role is directly responsible for the sales and promotion of the Company’s products and to be specialized and familiarized with our product lines. This role requires building and maintaining strong customer relationships, developing account management strategies, and expansion of new or existing businesses. He / she is required to work closely with other departments such as technical support, marketing, and product segment manager to deliver solutions that meet the customers’ satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Territory coverage weekly planning, execution and report (monthly outstation coverage)
  • To engage actively with customer to understand their needs and problems
  • To conduct account mapping and updating customer profile for territory development.
  • Responsible for the basic sales operations workflow such as issuing quotation, monitoring the status of PO, DO and following up the payment etc.
  • Responsible for the Marketing event – Pre, During and Post event activities such as introducing the new technology platforms and products to the market
  • To consistently update the case opportunities in CRM tool (Bitrix) and engage in accurate forecasting.
  • To participate and prepare for the tender documents.
  • Attending training planned by the company
  • To develop and maintain strong customer connections at various levels in the organization.
  • To effectively build the short / medium / long term sales pipelines and manages the necessary levels of sales leads and opportunities especially under your territory accounts.
  • To prepare and present customer sales presentations (relevant products) and participates in all sales activities.
  • To plan and organize the activities in order to ensure efficient and effective sales support, field service, technical and applications support are provided.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics, Molecular Oncology, Genetics or related field.
  • Good knowledge in Genomics field.
  • Experience in Microarray & Next Generation Sequencing is an added advantage.
