Join our team as a Quality Engineer and harness your expertise in software quality and testing methodologies to deliver robust automated tests using cutting-edge tools, while driving continuous improvements in our quality assurance processes for large-scale systems. This location will be hybrid for 4 days client onsite at Kelana Jaya, and 1 day WFH.

What You'll Do

  • Developing test plans and cases for positive and negative test cases to identify defects, bugs, and potential issues.
  • Collaborate with the development team to establish a testing strategy, acceptance criteria, and to develop / execute automated and manual testing.
  • Perform a wide range of quality control tests and analysis to ensure software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing, user testing, regression testing and automation testing across multiple projects.
  • Create and maintain documentation for QA procedures.
  • Script automation test scripts and contribute to the automation strategy.
  • Effectively integrate the QA engineering and analysis functions on software development projects and provide recommendations for standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or post graduate qualification, preferably in IT / Engineering.
  • Technically proficient in C#, SQL, .NET
  • Experienced in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing, preferably in Selenium
  • Manual test execution & management related to test scripts / cases and defects, with familiarity in automation testing
  • Experience with System Integration Testing (SIT), System Defect Management, Quality Engineering Strategy Implementation, User Acceptance Test (UAT) & Regression Testing
  • Developing software applications in Microsoft environments—Programming, scripting, performance testing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to express technical concepts in business terms
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage
  • Well-organized, independent, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
  • Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies in client / server and / or mobile computing environments is desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of QA strategy, process and tools, and ability to drive and execute software QA projects
  • Strong technical knowledge with hands-on experience in client / server, Web, and mobile application environments
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases and database applications (DB2 and / or Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Familiar with application design knowledge in C#.Net, AJAX, JavaScript and C# language
  • Experience in handheld application development for Android, iOS and Windows mobile
  • Experience in MS SQL Server database (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, etc.)
