Our client is a well-established player in the industrial and manufacturing industry. They are a large organization with a significant presence across Asia. The company prides itself on innovation, quality, and sustainable business practices.

Job Description

  • Produces key financial reports : This includes preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for management review.
  • Analyzes financial performance and variances : This involves reviewing financial statements for accuracy, comparing actual results against budgets, and reporting any significant differences to management.
  • Generates financial insights and recommendations : This encompasses creating regular reports on financial activities and performance indicators, conducting analyses to identify trends, opportunities for improvement in cost, efficiency, and overall financial health, and suggesting policy or procedural changes to enhance financial outcomes.
  • Manages budgeting and forecasting processes : This includes preparing and analyzing annual budgets and monthly forecasts, projecting future financial performance, and proposing action plans to achieve financial targets.
  • Oversees capital expenditure and inventory reporting : This involves preparing business cases to support capital expenditure approvals and ensuring accurate stocktake reporting, monitoring progress, and performing valuation and reconciliation analyses.

    A Successful Financial Controller Should Have

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial / manufacturing industry
  • Possess a degree in Finance / Accounting and is professionally qualified (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW and etc)
  • Based in Klang
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
