Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily laboratory operations, conducting tests and experiments, ensuring equipment is properly maintained, and supporting product quality and compliance standards. This role will also include responsibilities related to laboratory safety, documentation, inventory management, and general technical support to the production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

Perform laboratory testing, analysis, and experiments in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting of test results.

Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.

Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in the lab.

Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and documentation.

Manage laboratory stock and inventory, including chemicals, consumables, and spare parts.

Support research, development, and quality assurance activities.

Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lab efficiency and productivity.

Perform general duties as required by the department.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Science, or related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in laboratory testing, quality control, or related technical / engineering functions.

Hands-on experience in laboratory operations will be an added advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and best practices.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
