Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present accurate monthly financial statements, reports and forecasts to Top Management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets and financial plans.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger and project ledger functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments and reconciliations.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations especially on Services Tax, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and Global Minimum Tax and timely submission of all tax returns for the company and expatriates.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to other departments.
  • Prepare Quarterly Financial Report for Group consolidation.
  • Manage the treasury function and liaise with bankers on required facilities or bank queries.
  • Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounts for other subsidiaries, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Execute other ad-hoc tasks as and when needed by the Company.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • A deep understanding of financial principles, budgeting with financial software is essential. Knowledge in XERO system will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
  • A high level of integrity and ethical conduct in handling accounting and financial and Services Tax, and Corporate Tax matters.
