The Role

You will report to the Team Lead and play a key role in auditing Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) financial statements and SIS compliance. This is an opportunity to apply your accounting knowledge and deepen your understanding of superannuation laws and compliance.

Perform initial SMSF financial and compliance audits.
Clearly document audit queries and evidence requirements.
Ensure audit documentation is precise, complete and of high quality.
Work collaboratively within a team environment.
Uphold audit standards.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by management
Willingness to learn the rules relating to SMSFs, with a view to complete basic audit functions
Candidates will receive on the job training.

What We're Looking For

Accounting or equivalent bachelor degree (or currently completing).

Motivation and passion to learn new skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to organise, prioritise and meet deadlines.

Ability to research, solve problems and work on your own initiative.

Team player but also able to work independently.
