HR Manager based in Johor for a growing international retail business, up to 10k

An expanding organisation leading from the front for a niche retail industry backed by a well-known retail parent company.

Your new role

You will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR as a sole contributor as the team expands in the coming months. Your key focus in the first 1-year will be recruitment for the entire Malaysia requiring you to be resourceful to identify suited talents to be based in stores / on-site as the business goal is to expand. Other focus include managing / checking payroll on a monthly basis and independently managing industrial / employee relations, performance cycle up to the offboarding cycle. Leading as a pioneer of the local operations in Malaysia, you will be empowered to lead from the front and develop your team culture with support from your regional team in Singapore.

What you'll need to succeed

Preferably minimum 8-years experience in full spectrum HR

Must be strong in talent acquisition for part-timers and retail relevant candidates

Preferably from Retail, F&B or equivalent industries

Must be self-initiated, resourceful and collaborative

Must be fluent (speaking) in Mandarin
