JOB VACANCY – DATABASE ADMIN

Job Description

  • Work location : Sungai Buloh, Selangor
  • Starting date : Immediately
  • Job Types : Full-time, Contract

Key duties / responsibilities

  • Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize speed and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot database issues, including performance bottlenecks, replication problems, and data errors.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain database standards, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery drills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain professional demeanor
  • Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Keep record of problems and customers solution
  • Follow-up with customers
  • Reporting base on projects

    • Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technlogy or equivalent
  • At least THREE (3) year working experience in related field. Possess a knowledge and experience in technical and operational equipment, software, network equipment and applications in Hospital Information System (HIS) will be an added advantage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain professional demeanor
  • Able to work independently with minimize supervision
  • Able to multi-task and deliver within timeline
  • Possess own transport (motorcycle / car) as well as must be willing to travel
