The Head of Branch – Johor Bahru Campus is responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational management, and academic oversight to ensure the smooth functioning and sustainable growth of University’s Johor Bahru Campus. This role oversees all aspects of campus operations including academic delivery, student recruitment, finance, administration, marketing, and stakeholder engagement, in line with the university’s strategic goals and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Operational Leadership
Lead, plan, and execute the overall strategy for the Johor Bahru Campus in alignment with University’s mission and vision.
Manage day-to-day campus operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements (MOHE, MQA, etc.).
Monitor academic and operational performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Develop and implement campus business plans to achieve student enrolment, revenue, and quality objectives.
2. Academic & Student Affairs
Work closely with academic heads and faculty members to ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and student experience.
Support academic program delivery, timetabling, examinations, and accreditation requirements.
Promote student engagement and wellbeing through extracurricular and support programs.
Oversee campus budget planning, expenditure control, and financial reporting.
Ensure cost efficiency and optimize resource allocation to support campus sustainability.
Contribute to the university’s revenue generation through innovative initiatives and partnerships.
4. Marketing, Recruitment & Partnership Development
Drive student recruitment initiatives in collaboration with the marketing and admissions team.
Build and maintain relationships with schools, agencies, industry partners, and community stakeholders to enhance brand visibility.
Represent University JB Campus at official events, educational fairs, and networking platforms.
5. People & Stakeholder Management
Lead, mentor, and evaluate campus staff to foster a high-performance culture.
Promote a positive, collaborative, and student-centered environment.
Serve as the main liaison between JB Campus and the main campus management team in Kuala Lumpur.
6. Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to academic and administrative standards set by MQA, MOHE, and University’s internal quality framework.
Support audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
Maintain documentation, policies, and procedures in accordance with institutional governance.
Qualifications & Requirements
Master’s Degree in Education, Management, or related field (PhD preferred).
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in higher education management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role .
Strong understanding of higher education policies, accreditation, and compliance requirements.
Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Business-minded with experience in campus operations, marketing, and student recruitment.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
