Responsibilities

  • Participates in audits, performs risk profiling for assigned portfolios and manages all aspects of assessments in accordance with Internal Audit standards and regulatory requirements and statutes.
  • Actively assist in advancing the integrated auditing concepts and use of technology.
  • Self-starter in the use of Generative AI and Data Analytics in audits when needed.
  • Reports and monitors the significant issues / findings, and recommends appropriate interventions where needed.
  • Proposes practical solutions / drive value add improvements for risk and control issues.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in auditing.
  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
  • AICB Chartered Banker, CBA / BKA or other relevant professional certification will be advantageous.
  • Previous auditing experience in AML / CFT, branches / consumer business or related retail operations. Familiarity with AML / CFT regulatory framework / compliance standards for consumer banking sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards, risk management and internal controls.
  • Experience in using data analytics tools (e.g. ACL) to analyze data or using Tableau / Qlik Sense for visualization of data will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in adopting and applying Generative AI technologies will be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
