Senior Data Engineer

for a 6-month extendable contract position for our client in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Experience Level :

3+ years of strong experience with

Python, PySpark, and Databricks . Note : This opportunity is open to Malaysian citizens due to project requirements. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Build and optimize large-scale data processing systems for batch and real-time processing. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity through effective data modeling and governance. Implement and maintain data warehousing solutions to support BI and reporting needs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and storage layers. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and big data technologies. Qualifications & Skills

Strong experience with

Python, PySpark, and Databricks . Hands-on experience in

ETL processes

and

data modeling . Minimum of

3+ years of AWS experience . Strong understanding of data governance and best practices. AWS certification
