Minimum 12–15 years of maintenance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or plant-level role. Background in building materials, autoclave systems, cement, precast, or automated manufacturing is highly preferred. Proven experience in managing large maintenance teams, multi-disciplinary functions, and sizable manufacturing facilities. Strong understanding of CMMS, TPM, Lean Maintenance, and automation systems.
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager – Maintenance to lead and drive the maintenance strategy for our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will come with strong exposure to autoclave processes, highly automated plant operations, and large-scale factory management.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee the full spectrum of plant maintenance activities including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility systems.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment uptime, reliability, and compliance with safety standards.
- Spearhead continuous improvement projects focusing on automation, cost optimization, and energy efficiency.
- Manage a sizeable team of engineers, technicians, and contractors across shifts – including performance management, development, and succession planning.
- Collaborate closely with production, EHS, and engineering teams to support manufacturing efficiency, quality standards, and safe work practices.
- Prepare and control maintenance budgets, CAPEX proposals, and spare parts inventory.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve critical equipment failures.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations and internal audits.
