Overview

Job Summary : Responsible for supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. This includes the preparation of management accounts, audited financial statements, and reports related to group companies and regulatory bodies. The role also assists in financial analysis to support strategic business decisions and ensures timely reporting across MNRB Holdings Berhad, its subsidiaries, and scholarship fund operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes including preparation of management accounts, related party transaction papers, and audited financial statements.
• Prepare weekly reports on audit documentation status (PBC listing) and audit confirmation reports for the MNRB Group.
• Support the Assistant Vice President (AVP) in preparing Analysis of Performance (AOP) reports under MFRS 4, Bursa submissions, and other financial reports, including detailed analytical reviews to support decision‑making.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) reports.
• Ensure submission of audited financial statements to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) via the MBRS system.
• Prepare journal entries and follow up with defaulting scholars for scholarship recoveries.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for MNRB, SSB, and SFM.
• Support AVP in preparing presentation materials for Board meetings, AGMs, and management meetings.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to streamline financial reporting processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist with ad-hoc assignments and special projects as required.
