Lead end-to-end software development and L3 production support for core banking systems, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and high-quality code delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to optimize system performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end software development and support for all work transitioned from Group, with a focus on L3 production fixes.
- Manage production problems and incidents, including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and support.
- Ensure quality assurance of team delivery in conformance with defined software delivery methodology and tools.
- Partner closely with the Group domain team to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.
- Act as the focal point for technical resolutions while managing incident, problem, and knowledge management processes.
- Provide comprehensive support to internal customers and resolve outstanding issues.
- Manage third-party product vendors and integration partners to ensure timely and high-quality code fix deliveries.
- Design metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators.
- Test, maintain, and recommend software improvements for functionality and optimization.
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues, review code, and perform unit testing with production support teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize problem remediation work.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives in methods, tools, architecture, project management, and governance.
Key Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; additional professional / technical qualifications are a plus.Minimum 6 years of experience in relevant banking applications or IT.Proficient in IBM AS400 platform, RPG, COBOL, and CL programming .Strong understanding and experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or Agile methodologies.Well-versed in service management and production support process flows.Experience leading a small team and mentoring junior developers.This opportunity is available to individuals authorized to work in Malaysia.#J-18808-Ljbffr
