About the role

As a Site Engineer at Kapar Jaya Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects at our sites in Batu Kawan Penang. This is a full-time position that involves ensuring the successful delivery of our civil and structural engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

Supervising construction activities and ensuring work is completed to the required standards and specifications
Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities
Identifying and resolving any technical issues or problems that arise during construction
Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to the project management team
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Assisting with the preparation of project documentation, such as reports and quality control records
Providing technical guidance and support to junior members of the construction team

What were looking for

A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

At least 5 years of experience in a similar site engineering role, preferably in the construction industry

Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

A valid drivers license and the ability to travel to project sites as required
