As an Account Assistant, you will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions and updating accounting software, as well as processing payments, receipts, and staff expense claims. You will assist in preparing monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit / loss statements, and liaise with clients, vendors, and banks regarding payment matters through email or online communication. The role also involves maintaining accurate digital filing of financial records to ensure all documents are up to date, supporting payroll processing, statutory submissions, and other compliance matters, and assisting auditors with documentation and necessary reports during audits. Additionally, you will perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative support tasks as assigned by the Accountant.
