Job Description

  • Leadership : lead and manage a team of engineers providing support and direction.
  • Project oversight : project planning and costing, develop project plans, timelines and resources allocation.
  • Project monitoring : oversee project milestone, ensuring adherence to time lines, budget, etc.
  • Technical expertise : provide technical guidance and support, evaluate and approve engineering designs.

JOB DETAILS

Software Development and Deployment

  • To participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • To support continuous improvement activities, which including troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software and applications.
  • Maintain high quality of products with participation in code review and design reviews.
  • Identify risks and dependencies early in the project lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Review all work produced by the engineering team.
  • Review and analyse user functions and activities, evaluation of available resources and current systems, while recommending appropriate solutions and implementation of these changes.
  • Continuously improve software development processes and methodologies, incorporating best practices and agile principles.
  • Contribute to providing ongoing support for system software that meets technical and customer requirements.
  • Address problems of system integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.

    • Project Management

  • Work closely with the consultant and project manager during all phases of the project implementation, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
  • To provide expertise in the design, development, and customization of the solution.
  • Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor the progress of projects.
  • Report progress to the HOD, including any changes made to plans and production.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and post-project evaluations.

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field and management.
  • Proven experience in software engineering, with a track record of successfully leading complex software development projects.
  • Strong technical background and expertise in software development languages and frameworks such as Java, AngularJS, and Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with MAK language is an advantage, and a willingness to learn it is required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Responsive and accountable for every issue recorded till resolution.

    Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the plant maintenance, plant modifications and capex project implementation. Manage and control activities to achieve the given KPIs within budget, ensuring timely completion and safety.
  • Plan, organize, direct and control the function of the maintenance department to ensure all plant equipment is in good operating condition.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance activities are carried out as per the master schedule. To consistently review the master schedule to improve the preventive maintenance activities.

  • Preferably a manager with hands‑on experience in Plant & Equipment Maintenance in the petrochemical, oleochemical, and oil refinery industry.
  • Experience in maintaining static and rotating equipment and familiar with hazardous areas engineering work.
  • Experience in plant turnaround activities.
  • Good communication with all levels of staff.
  • Resourceful in terms of engineering services, technology, etc.
  • Analytical and good troubleshooting skills for rotating equipment.
