Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in system administration, infrastructure management, backup and recovery solutions, and virtualization technologies. Exhibit strong analytical skills to effectively analyze information, diagnose complex system issues, and implement appropriate solutions. Demonstrate proficiency in problem‑solving, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective resolutions in a timely manner. Possess excellent listening skills to understand user needs, gather requirements, and communicate technical information clearly and concisely. Have in‑depth knowledge and experience in designing, implementing, and managing backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity. Demonstrate expertise in infrastructure management, including server hardware, operating systems, networking, and storage systems. Possess a strong understanding of virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper‑V, with experience in designing, deploying, and managing virtualized environments. Exhibit experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation, including developing and testing disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss. Communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both verbally and in writing, to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Job Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Implement and administer backup and recovery solutions to protect critical data and ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster.
- Design, implement, and manage virtualization environments using technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V, optimizing resource utilization and scalability.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and prevent downtime.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all infrastructure systems, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing, ensuring that systems can be recovered quickly and effectively in the event of an outage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, escalating to vendors or other teams as needed.
