Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical analyses using techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, and microscopy.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods for quality control and research purposes.
  • Conduct experiments to investigate chemical reactions, properties, and compositions of substances.
  • Interpret and analyze data from experiments, identifying trends and drawing conclusions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including researchers, engineers, and technicians to support product development and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of experimental procedures, results, and observations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
  • Stay informed about advancements in chemistry and related fields through literature review and participation in professional development activities.
  • Assist in regulatory compliance activities, including the preparation of technical documents and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
  • Proven experience working in a laboratory setting, conducting chemical analyses and experiments.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and techniques, including chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, and microscopy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to chemical testing and analysis.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and practices in the laboratory.
