Senior Account Executive

Synerlitz (Malaysia) is a leading EPCC company in the oil and gas industries. Synerlitz was established in 1998. Our services include EPCC, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping and Boiler installation and repair works. We also provide Facility Management Services Solutions. Job Purpose Implement and manage accounting functions to ensure proper records, timely submission of accurate financial and management reports, and ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, Statutory reporting and local authorities requirements. Key Accountabilities Managing day to day accounting operational - includes AR, AP, GL, Bank Reconciliation Preparing full set accounts during month end and year end closing. Ensure timely and accurate preparation, analysis and reporting of monthly accounting. Liaise with internal and external parties on accounting and payment matters. Ensure timely and accurate expense tracking, payment processing and payment receive. Responsible to control the company cash flow and update Manager at a timely manner. Ensure all documents received are checked, validated and matched accordingly. Maintain complete updated Intercompany records in the system Handle Fixed Assets management and depreciation for the company. Liaise with external auditor, tax agent, banker, company secretary. Qualification(s) Degree in Accounting or Professional qualification in Accountancy. MIA certification will be added advantage Experience Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Sound accounting knowledge. Knowledge in SQL accounting software. Audit background is an added advantage. Month and year end closing experience. Personal Skills Dependable and able to work independently. Strong analytical skills and attention to details. Good communication skills. Able to deal with a wide range of situations and personalities, good interpersonal skills. Self-starter, able to prioritize and organize targeted and strategic projects or assignments.
