Prangin Mall-JMB' is seeking an experienced Account and Billing Assistant to join our team in George Town, Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and credit control operations to ensure the timely collection of payments and effective credit management.

Responsibilities

Process and record incoming payments
Follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate payment plans with clients
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
Generate and send invoices, statements and other billing documents
Liaise with customers to address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis
Support the wider accounts team as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in accounts receivable, credit control or a similar finance / accounting role

Strong numerical skills and proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to deal with customers effectively

Methodical approach to work with keen attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

Familiarity with relevant accounting and financial regulations and procedures
