  • Job Description
  • Lead and manage innovation projects and conduct innovation & breakthrough research on new products and process focusing on Customer Acceptance, Commercial Feasibility, Regulatory and Market Compliance.

Duties And Responsibilities

General

  • Contribute to setting the vision and direction for product and process innovation to support the sustainability and leadership position of the organization.
  • Leading and aligning people towards achieving the vision and values in a dynamic organization.
  • Complying with country regulatory environments, governing bodies, and industry compliance requirements.
  • Keeping abreast of latest cutting-edge technology relevant to the industry.

    • Business / Operations

  • Developing business plan for product and process innovation / development.
  • Identifying opportunities to design new innovative products and processes aligned with the organization's business plan and strategic vision.
  • Conducting analyses to measure product competitiveness and performance.
  • Creating a conducive environment for process or product innovation.
  • Analyzing and interpreting data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Planning and directing research activities and experiments.
  • Applying scientific principles, practices and findings.
  • Defining key performance indicators for new products or processes.
  • Developing methods to evaluate product technical performance aligned to international benchmarking R&D methodologies.

    • People / Stakeholder Management

  • Employee engagement, development, succession planning and performance management.
  • Any other tasks that assigned by your superior.

    • Requirements

    Education :

  • Ph.D in (Chemistry) / (Polymer Science) / (Material Science) / (Polymer Engineering) / (Material Engineering) / (Applied Chemistry) or equivalent combination of relevant education and / or experience

    • Work Experience

  • Minimum 6 years in leading and managing innovative and breakthrough research on new products and processes.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in patent registration (local and international).
  • At least 2 successful projects commercialised
