Responsibilities :

To understand and comply to customer's requirements and constraints with the consideration of manufacturability, functionality, safety and cost.
To conceptualize and design product creatively and innovatively with the consideration of ease to assemble and manufacture, cost and safety.
To plan and schedule the total design and development cycle of a project.
To detail parts, PCB layout and components with clarity and with detail.
To issue and update drawing, BOM and documents in accordance to the needs of vendors, customers and production.
To obtain quotations for prototype from vendor and negotiate on pricing if necessary.
To obtain quotations for tooling from vendor and negotiate on pricing if necessary.
To review the tooling design and attend the tooling testing.
To evaluate product and improve in consideration of functionality, assembly, testing and reliability.
To review design with customers and production for improvements or modifications.
To approve parts for sample runs, pilot run and production.
To support production in design issues and cost improvement.
To in charge of preparing a New Product for Mass Production.

Requirement :

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

Minimum 2–3 years' working experience in manufacturing, preferably in metal stamping products or precision engineering.

Strong knowledge in product design, tooling, and manufacturing processes.

Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), process development, and project management will be an added advantage.

Proficient in CAD software.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Able to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.

Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight project deadlines.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : RM2, RM3,800.00 per month
