Senior Business System Analyst

Overview

Senior Business System Analyst role at Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad. This position focuses on leading and delivering innovative initiatives within the GBTB Innovation team to improve the end-to-end lending journey and support long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the execution of new capabilities and lending application development, which may be in-house or in collaboration with external parties.
• Research emerging technologies to determine their potential to increase the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prepare cost–benefit analyses to inform management decisions on information systems and infrastructure upgrades.
• Devise ways to add new functionality to existing systems and analyze business processes to write system process specifications.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and deployment of new systems and customize them for the business.
• Conduct testing to ensure systems perform as expected and analyze data to identify data integrity issues, implementing solutions.
• Verify database and data integrity and serve as a liaison between Group SME, Commercial Banking & Corporate Banking and internal and external parties to address system logic and parameters.
• Train end users and write instruction manuals; synthesize information from various sources to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps.
• Contribute to creating the future vision for GBTB innovation in collaboration with the GBTB Strategic Innovation & Ecosystem Development Head, leveraging internal and external best practices.
