Technical Specialist

Job Summary

The Technical Specialist serves as the technical expert for cleanroom laundry processes, cleanroom consumables, garments and accessories, ensuring customers receive the right solutions for their contamination control needs. This role involves technical consultations, product recommendations, and supporting the sales team with in-depth knowledge of cleanroom laundry processes, testing, compliance, materials, and industry standards. The specialist will work closely with clients in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, semiconductors, and electronics manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Advise customers on laundry processes for cleanroom garments and footwear including testing methods.
• Act as the primary technical advisor for customers, helping them select appropriate cleanroom garments, gloves, footwear, mops & other consumables based on their industry & company requirements.
• Provide guidance on material compatibility, particle shedding, sterility, ESD control, and chemical resistance for different cleanroom classifications (ISO14644-1, FS209E, GMP).
• Serve as primary authority on EU GMP Annex 1 requirements for garment specifications, laundry process validation, aseptic gowning procedures, monitoring and testing, autoclaving and other compliance topics.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and compliance training for customers
• Respond to technical inquiries via email, phone, or on-site visits, ensuring accurate & timely solutions.
• Assist the sales team in technical discussions with prospects and clients, acting as a trusted advisor during the sales process.
• Prepare technical documentation & comparison charts to help sales team explain product benefits.
• Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate new products and ensure they meet customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot customer issues related to product performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Train sales staff on product specifications, industry regulations, and application best practices.
• Maintain accurate records technical inquiries and customer solutions using relevant company software.
• Uphold the integrity and image of the company at all times.
• Other responsibilities as required.
