Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, organize, and manage daily operations across a chain of bakery retail outlets to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Contribute to sales strategies for the bakery brand(s), execute promotional plans, and implement cost-control measures to meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance against forecasts; identify trends in customer behavior and purchasing patterns to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and operational standards, as well as to monitor the quality of customer service and product presentation.
  • Review in-store execution and provide constructive feedback to store managers and head bakers to maintain high standards and consistent brand experience.
  • Keep abreast of market trends within the bakery and food industry, including evolving customer tastes, competitor offerings, and product innovations.
  • Oversee inventory levels across all bakery outlets; ensure optimal stock availability of baked goods and raw materials, and work with store managers and head bakers to forecast and replenish stock effectively.
  • Support the recruitment, training & development, and motivation of bakers & service crew; mentor store teams to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high-quality product standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, etc. to meet operational demands and strategic business goals.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Food & Beverage, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in retail operations, preferably within the food & beverage or bakery industry.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dynamic personality and a passion for food and customer service.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-outlet retail operations with a focus on customer satisfaction and profitability.
