What should you do?

Balance Sheet Reconciliation Leadership

  • Own and lead the reconciliation process across key accounts including trade debtors, cash collection, creditors, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and audit standards.
  • Resolve reconciling items and drive automation and efficiency across reconciliation workflows.

Process Optimization & Systems Enhancement

  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in finance operations.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve system integration and data flow for financial reporting.
  • Lead initiatives to redesign GL mapping and master data structures to support evolving business needs and segmental reporting.
  • Financial Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Build and refine financial models that support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze reconciled accounts to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Deliver enhanced reporting packages with actionable insights and performance metrics.
  • Experience in leveraging on systems and emerging technologies such as AI to optimize financial processes.
  • Month-End Closing

  • Review and validate accounts reconciliation for completeness and accuracy
  • Review month end management accounts, identify gaps, backlogs and error and follow-up on remediation to resolution.
  • Ensure month end close activities are performed and continuously improve financial close process
  • Oversee timely delivery of management reporting aligned with month-end close timelines.
  • Financial Controls & Risk Management

  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure operational integrity across finance processes.
  • Partner with audit and risk teams to proactively identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Monitor liquidity, spending controls, and cash flow movements to safeguard financial health.
  • Finance Transformation & Strategic Projects

  • Lead transformation initiatives including automation, digitization, and process redesign.
  • Drive cross-functional projects that align finance operations with broader business goals.
  • Collaborate with other finance departments, IT, and business teams to resolve discrepancies and implement process enhancements.
  • Provide value-added financial analysis and business partnering with commercial and operation teams.
  • Evaluate new business initiatives, partnerships, and arrangements, recommending optimal financial and business models.
  • Support the CFO in shaping the future of the finance function, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Team Leadership

  • Act as a key liaison with auditors, regulators, and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with commercial, operational, and technology teams to ensure financial alignment.
  • Mentor and develop your team, fostering a high-performance culture and readiness for future leadership.
  • Who should join us?

  • Minimum 10 years related working experience in reconciliation, financial analysis, managing end to end finance activities and process improvement / transformation
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership presence and ability to influence across functions
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate independently while coaching and developing teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; Python or reconciliation tools a plus
