Developer, Front End (New Marketplace Development)

We’re looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join our team and build intuitive, responsive, and engaging user interfaces for our eCommerce platform using React . You will collaborate closely with backend developers (MedusaJS), designers, and product managers to deliver seamless shopping experiences that delight customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, reusable, and scalable React components for an eCommerce storefront.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs from MedusaJS, ensuring smooth data flow and user experience.
  • Optimize frontend performance for fast load times and smooth interactions.
  • Participate in UI / UX discussions and help translate designs into functional components.
  • Integrate and customize headless CMS tools to manage dynamic content effectively.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure frontend code quality.
  • Work with product managers and designers to gather requirements and deliver new features.
  • Maintain clear documentation of frontend architecture, components, and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience building frontend applications with React .
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass, LESS) and modern CSS techniques (Flexbox, Grid).
  • Experience working with headless CMS platforms such as Sanity , Strapi , Contentful , or similar.
  • Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Context API, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of backend concepts, especially headless eCommerce platforms like MedusaJS.
  • Proficient in Git version control and collaborative workflows.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with TypeScript in React projects.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
  • Exposure to GraphQL and advanced CMS integrations.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG).
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.
