The Opportunity

The opportunity is with one of Australia’s most trusted specialist trustee companies, providing financial, fiduciary, and technology-driven services across private wealth, superannuation, and corporate clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Technology Services team as a Software Developer, working on solutions that support core business systems and integrations across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing business applications and integrations to meet team and organisational goals. You’ll work closely with analysts, architects, and end-users to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Develop, test, and implement high-quality software solutions to meet business needs.
Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to define requirements and propose efficient technical solutions.
Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
Perform code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure development standards are met.
Support integration between platforms and third-party systems.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and relevant regulations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the technology and project teams.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

4+ years of professional software development experience.

Proficient in the .NET framework and MS SQL Server, including SSIS and SSRS.

Hands-on experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

Familiarity with data integration (XML, JSON, LINQ, Entity Framework).

Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software design principles.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
