Accountant

Overview

We are seeking an experienced ACCOUNTANT to join iNETest Malaysia Sdn Bhd (IMSB), based in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting the overall financial management of iNETest.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper documentation of financial activities in accordance with policies and procedures
• Post entries into Globe 3 (G3) system
• Monitor accounts receivables and payables on continual basis
• Ensure timely closing of accounts
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasting
• Liaise with external and internal auditors during annual audit
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with Malaysian tax laws and regulations
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as the finance team and Management in S’pore, to provide financial information and support
• Keeps abreast of updates in Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and international accounting standards
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required
