Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize computer vision systems for defect detection, feature recognition, and automation in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Evaluate customer samples to analyze image characteristics and determine appropriate machine vision hardware (optics, camera, lens, lighting) and software requirements.
- Design and develop custom machine vision solutions based on project needs, using either programming languages or graphical / configuration-based tools with image processing libraries.
- Develop software applications including vision logic, user interfaces (UI), and overall software architecture on PC-based vision platforms, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Implement deep learning-based vision models to enable high-speed, high-accuracy inspection processes.
- Carry out system installation, programming, and on-site fine-tuning of machine vision inspection systems at both factory and customer facilities.
Requirements
Candidate with Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related fields are welcome to apply.At least 3 years of working experience in computer vision, image processing, and machine learning using vision library and frameworks such as Halcon, VisionPro, Matrox, Keyence, OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.Proficient in programming languages such as Python and C++ for vision-related applications.Understanding of Vision Hardware Components (Optics, Lens, Lighting) is a must have.Familiarity with machine vision, automation technologies and PLC is a strong advantage.Familiarity with deep learning models (e.g., CNNs, GANs, Transformers) for visual recognition tasks is an advantage.Knowledge of real-time processing, embedded systems, or hardware acceleration technologies (e.g., CUDA, FPGA) is a plus.Able to work under minimal supervision & independently.
