Equity Research Analyst

Overview

The main responsibilities of the research assistant are to assist senior analyst(s) with managing their coverage which includes sector eco systems, data sets as well as executing publication duties which will be mainly assessed based on timeliness and accuracy.

After probation period, the research assistant will also be assigned a sub sector or selected stocks to cover (i.e., detailed analysis and recommendations) under the supervision of a senior analyst – performance would be assessed based on idea generation via research reports. The research assistant is also required to pass CMRSL module 12 / 19A for licensing purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• Investment Ideas Generation and Advisory – Ensure that the department has a strong pipeline of idea driven product (retail & institutional).
• Publication and Data Management – Market / Stock Technical Analysis, Data management.
• Assistance to Analysts – Management of senior analysts and own sector ecosystem, Assisting analysts with coverage.
