Job Description (DevOps & DBA Focused)

Build, and maintain CI / CD pipelines for data processing workflows and analytics applications.
Automate deployment, scaling, and management of data infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments.
Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of databases and data processing environments.
Manage and maintain databases such as StarRocks, DorisDB, Redis, Hive & HDFS, and PostgreSQL, ensuring optimal performance, backups, and disaster recovery.
Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance measures for data processing and storage.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to streamline ETL workflows, optimize query performance, and enhance data availability.

Job Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

2+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE, Data engineer, cloud infrastructure, or database administration.

Strong experience managing databases like StarRocks, DorisDB, Redis, Hive & HDFS, and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning, backup & recovery, and replication.

Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Bash scripting for automation and database operations.

Hands-on experience with containerized services (eg. Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed computing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Flink). Knowing Flink is a plus.

Experience with CI / CD tools (eg. GitLab CI / CD) and best practices for deployment automation.

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana) for database and infrastructure observability is a plus.

Business proficiency (written and spoken) in Mandarin to communicate with non-English speaking colleagues in China.
