This is a role in the 2nd line of defence and is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of the ERM Framework, including risk assessments, reporting and governance activities. The role holder needs to be a Business Partner in providing sound advisory to support business functions to manage risks.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the Operational Risk Management Policy and relevant methodology and tools
- Lead the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) exercise and quality review of the business units’ risk registers
- Ensure BNM’s ORR reporting requirements are met in a timely manner
- Follow up with business units on outstanding loss event, Key Risk Indicators and action plans
- Review the appropriateness of risk appetite with corresponding metrics
- Prepare periodic risk reports to relevant risk committees
- Support the Priority Risk workshop
Operational Resilience
Support the BCM and Technology Risk units to ensure the business continuity and technology risk activities complement the operational resilience objectiveOthers
Act as the ERMC’s Secretariat and departmental administrative mattersConduct risk awareness training and give guidance to Risk ChampionsSupport the Chief Risk Officer with ad hoc projects as requiredRequirements
